Bronzeville Scholastic Institute (BSI) Mentoring Program

Program Overview: Bronzeville Scholastic Institute Mentoring Program is centered on building self-esteem to improve the academic performance in all participants. The mentoring program focuses on job preparedness through sequential concepts, which include self-awareness, exploration, and preparation. Also, the program assists students in the development of realistic images about the opportunities that are available in our society. Mentees take an active role in leadership, individuality, and personal expression.

Southside Mentoring Program

Program Overview: Southside Mentoring Program is centered on building self-esteem to improve the academic performance in all participants. Age Range: 11 - 14
Program Overview: Libby Mentoring Program is centered on building self-esteem to improve the academic performance in all participants. The mentoring program consists of various personal growth discussions, which include self-awareness, exploration, and preparation through reading, writing, and public speaking to help mentees improve their communication skills. Also, the program assists students in the development of realistic images about the opportunities that are available in our society. Mentees take an active role in leadership, individuality, and personal expression.

Program Overview: This program is to provide skills, knowledge, and encouragement for successful leadership. The sessions or “labs” consist of interactive elements ranging from facilitated discussions to table-top activities, and some small physical challenges. Each session will address some topics in the following areas;Teamwork, Communication, Resolving conflict, Leadership.
