Everyone,

The 100 Black Men of Chicago, Inc. is committed to the growth and development of America’s youth. Our commitment is reflected in onsite and weekend mentoring, education initiatives, health and wellness events, and economic development programs.

One of our flagship programs is our annual College Scholarship Fair. In 2003, the 100 Black Men of Chicago, Inc. hosted its first College Scholarship Fair achieving stunning success. Each year since, over 120 colleges and universities have interacted with nearly 5000 students and parents. To date over 3,000 students have been offered acceptance into a college or university. Additionally, over 2000 scholarships have been awarded totaling nearly $8 million to date.

Building on the previous successes, the 100 Black Men of Chicago, Inc, will host its 5th Annual College Scholarship Fair on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at the University of Illinois at Chicago Physical Education Building from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  If you are a parent, guardian, guidance counselor, or simply concerned about supporting the education of our youth, mark you calendar for this incredible event. It has truly been life changing for many aspiring students.

With the support and contribution of parents, civic leaders, community partners, and corporate sponsors, we are striving to continue fulfilling our mission to enhance the lives of young people and their communities in the Chicagoland area.
