UIC Engineering High School Institute

This is a summer program designed to ensure that minority students gain exposure to principles of mathematics and the basic sciences and to encourage them to pursue an undergraduate education in engineering, math, and the sciences. The principal focuses of the program are organization of the computer and laboratory activities. Students will explore practical applications of engineering concepts to real-life problems, while learning digital electronics. This is a four week summer program beginning of half-day classroom instruction in simple circuit board design and digital logic. The program and materials are free of charged and public transportation is provided.
